At PALMISTRY, we are on a journey to make the good chocolate great.

Our chocolates have only 3 ingredients - real cocoa, palm jaggery & a2 milk.

What's our story?

We Guna & Mathi, are parents of two young kids. We started our chocolate journey to make a healthy and tasty chocolate for our own kid.

We started at a time when healthy chocolates were just arriving in the market. However healthy they may be we weren't able to eat them. If we can't eat them, how can we give it to our child?

That's when we started experimenting with the idea of making our own chocolates. One thing lead to another and we travelled into a rabbit hole of cacao, blending, grinding, tempering, etc.

Over a period of 2 years we experimented so much into chocolates that we were able to settle down on a recipe that gets together the traditional south Indian sweetener Palm Jaggery and cacao.

We fine tuned the process for another year to achieve what now our customers call, the finest taste in healthy chocolates.

Why did we start PALMISTRY?

The market is loaded with commercial chocolates that are full of white sugar, palm oil (hydrogenated carbons), emulsifiers, preservatives, artificial flavors, soy lecithin and what not. We wanted to make a chocolate which is just pure and clean.

That's why all Palmistry products are made with just palm jaggery & cocoa. Our milk chocolates have only A2 milk. No hidden ingredients in our list.

Why Palm Jaggery?

Palm jaggery is a healthy and traditional sweetener quite popular in the southern part of India. It's a naturally organic and time tested sweeter that packs not just sweetness but also a lot of fiber, minerals and multi-vitamins.

The Glycemic Index of white sugar if 65 while Palm Jaggery is 30. Even jaggery (gud) GI is 50% higher than palm jaggery.

How about taste?

Fair question. All those products that claim to be healthy somehow compromise on taste. Not in Palmistry.

At Palmistry, so much research and so many iterations go into each product before we make the product public. We ourselves are foodies and we are Palmistry's first critics. We can confidently say that unless we're satisfied with the taste of a product, we won't sell it.
